Upload Your 30 Minute Potato Dish to Win a Family Farm Stay

James Martin is helping us to search for Britain’s best potato dish and we want you, the UK’s budding home cooks and culinary experts, to share with us your or your family’s favourite potato recipes. Whether it’s a secret family recipe, a modern mid-week meal or a unique twist on basic mash, we want you to tell us how to cook it! All we ask is that your recipes are healthy, easy and ready from prep to plate in 30 minutes or less.

From all of the potato recipes uploaded, 12 regional finalists will be selected from across Britain. The finalists’ recipes will be tasted by a panel of serious foodies – including celebrity chef James Martin – before the creator of the winning recipe is selected to land the role of Home Economist on the Many Faces 2013 national TV ad shoot.

It’s not just the recipe that reaps the rewards though – the lucky winner will receive a luxury family holiday in Oxfordshire’s beautiful Garden Cottage where you’ll be greeted with the ultimate foodie hamper packed with delicious ingredients for you to cook up your favourite potato recipe.  Plus, you’ll be treated to a delicious three course feast at the local gastro pub – the ultimate family weekend away.

Angi Slater entered her recipe for Smoked Salmon with Potato Cakes, Soured Cream and Chives last year, and won the chance to star in our national TV advert which can be viewed here.

What’s more, every week between now and the competition closing date of Friday 29^th March 2013, we will give away a designer potato masher to the recipe of the week.

For your chance to win one or both of these exciting prizes, upload and share your dinner recipes with us. Your healthy food entry should contain ingredients that are easily found in your store-cupboard and should take between 15 and 30 minutes to cook from prep to plate.
